    2018-19 International Students Tuition & Fees

    International students who wish to enter the U.S. in F-1 status to attend full-time classes must provide evidence of sufficient funds to pay tuition, fees and living expenses (reflected below in USD) for 8 months of study. For domestic student tuition and fees (that is, you are a U.S. Citizen, a Pending or Permanent Resident of the U.S., or you are on Asylum or Refugee Status), see the undergraduate or graduate accordions on this page.

    If you are bringing a spouse to Detroit Mercy with you, please be prepared to add additional living expense funds to adjust for this: $14,579.00 to the TOTAL figure in the respective chart below for your degree program. For each child you bring, add an additional $1,827.00 to the TOTAL. So, for example, if you are applying to the Architecture Graduate Program and you plan to bring a spouse and one child with you, the TOTAL is $58,507.00 USD.

Personal & Miscellaneous Expenses

We estimate that students may spend approximately $5171 for personal expenses during the academic year. This was calculated based on the moderate living expense budget for 2017-18 for the metro Detroit Area, provided by The College Board.

Loan Fees

Estimated loan fees for undergraduate students averaged $72 per academic year. Estimated loan fees for graduate students averaged $220 per academic year.
